Trains Assemblage I  (artist's collection)

cut paper assemblage; 14x31”; Inspired by vintage NewYorker covers, this wall sculpture is pieced together from the set of a stop-motion short commissioned by the Poulenc Trio in 2016 as a companion piece for an original music composition by Viet Cuong called Trains of Thought. The assemblage incorporates several of the stop motion puppets used in the film and evokes the whimsy and lyricism of the music. See the trailer HERE.
