Lizzie's Corset Cover (artist's collection)

found object assemblage; 18x22”; There was a box of clothes from the 1890's in my grandma's attic that belonged to my great-grandmother Lizzie and her sister. I loved dressing up in them when I was a kid. Pairing Lizzie's corset cover with funny old postcards and some of her sewing materials seemed like a good fit. (She'd be mortified to know that her underwear is framed and hanging in my hallway!)
